Shipping & Returns

1. Shipping Policy

At Anna Johanna, all orders are packed and shipped with care. We work with trusted carriers to ensure your order arrives safely and on time.

Carriers & Tracking

  • All packages within the Netherlands and Belgium are shipped via PostNL.
  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a track & trace link via email.

Shipping Costs & Delivery Times

  • Netherlands: from €6.45 – delivery within 1–3 business days.
  • Belgium: from €11.90 – delivery within 2–4 business days.
  • Germany: from €11.75 – delivery within 2-3 business days.
  • Other country's in Europe : from €11.75 – delivery 2-9 business days. 
  • Final shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

2. Production Time

  • Standard products: produced & shipped within 1–3 business days.
  • Custom-made webshop items: produced & shipped within 5–10 business days.
  • Fully bespoke items (e.g., wedding dresses): delivery time by personal agreement.

Note: All items are handmade, often using deadstock fabrics. Small variations in color or texture are part of the charm and uniqueness of each piece and are not considered defects.

3. Return Policy

  • We have a 14-day return policy. You must request and send your return within 14 days after receiving your item.
  • Returns requested or shipped after this period will not be refunded.
  • Items must be returned unworn, unused, with original tags, and in the original packaging, sealed securely. Include the receipt or proof of purchase.

Return Process:

  1. Email info@annajohanna.nl to request approval.
  2. Send returns to:

Important:

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
  • We do not provide prepaid return labels.
  • You can use PostNL or DHL to arrange your return shipment.
    When creating your shipping label, we recommend using the dimensions:
    • PostNL: 100×50×50 cm
    • DHL: 80×50×35 cm

       These sizes are often suitable and easy to select when booking your parcel. 

  • Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

4. Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We will review the issue and offer a suitable solution.

5. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-made or personalized products (e.g., wedding dresses or items adjusted to your measurements or preferences) cannot be returned.
  • By placing your order and submitting the measurement form, you agree that custom-made products are excluded from the right of withdrawal under Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.
  • Custom-made orders can only be cancelled on the same calendar day as purchase, before production begins.

6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return your original order (if eligible) and place a new order once your return is accepted.

7. Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, you will be notified of approval.
  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Additional time may be required for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact info@annajohanna.nl.

8. Questions or Complaints

If you are unhappy with your order or something is not right, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at info@annajohanna.nl. We are happy to help and find a solution.
